Bishop's Palace and Tall Ship Elissa to Re-Open Saturday, October 25

Galveston Historical Foundation's two most visited historic attractions, Bishop's Palace, located at 14th and Broadway and the Official Tall Ship of Texas, the 1877 Elissa, will re-open for public tours on Saturday, October 25.
Bishop's Palace will be open from noon to 4 p.m. with guided tours on the hour. Elissa will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Both properties will only be open on weekends over the course of the next several weeks.
Tickets to Elissa, normally $8, will be discounted to $5 because the Texas Seaport Museum, usually part of the ticket price, does not have electricity yet and is not able to be opened as part of the Elissa tour. The museum shop, however, will be included in the ticket price. For more information about Bishop's Palace, call 409-765-7834. For more information about Elissa, call 409-763-1877.
