Facade Easement Program

In 2006, GHF adopted a formal policy for accepting façade easements on historic properties. This allows GHF the right to monitor the exterior appearance of buildings and insure that their historic character is maintained for generations to come. This is especially helpful for buildings that are not within historic districts. The property owner may be able to claim the donation of the façade easement as a tax deduction.
