Tree Sculpture Tours aboard GHF’s E-bus
Saturdays, May 12, 9:30 a.m. and 1 p.m.
Sundays, May 13, 10:30 a.m. and 2 p.m.
Departs from Ashton Villa’s rear parking lot, 2328 Broadway
Enjoy touring Galveston Island’s now famous tree sculptures carved from century old trees destroyed by Hurricane Ike. Each tour can accommodate 10 passengers and lasts approximately one hour.
$15 per person

Sally Wallace Preservation Awards

Each year GHF’s Preservation Resource Center hosts this award named in honor of a pivotal Galveston historic preservation pioneer. The annual award ceremony recognizes the projects, craftspeople and individuals that help improve the historic architecture of Galveston Island.

Historic 1838 Menard House, 1605 33rd Street (next to Menard Hall)
History on Tap is an ongoing series of events that allows participants to interact with various GHF properties outside of the standard tour environment. Additionally, each event is paired with a different distillery or brewery that directly ties into the event’s discussion. Join GHF as we welcome Makers Mark for Mint Julep’s at the historic 1838 Menard House.
Tickets $15 in advance, $20 at the door.

Linen and Lace A Mother’s Day Champagne Brunch and Fashion Show

Start your Mother’s Day Homes Tour Sunday, celebrating Mom, with the 8th annual Mother’s Day Champagne Brunch. Enjoy a delicious brunch and the latest spring/summer fashions by Galveston’s Head to Footsies boutiques. The one-of-a-kind 1880 German dancing pavilion, Garten Verein, is the setting for this charming tradition. All patrons are automatically entered to win fabulous door prizes! Linen and lace is the preferred attire.
$45 per person and includes a ticket to the Galveston Historic Homes Tour.
