Environmentally Sound, Aesthetically Pleasing Landscape Design

Mark Fox Landscaping Company is an established landscape design and planting company celebrating over 20 years in the business. Mark is a landscape designer, not a landscape architect. His knowledge is based on 30 years of careful observation and constant study. His work has been featured in Sally Wasowski’s book “Native Texas Gardens”. They have had several of landscapes in the garden pages of the Houston Chronicle, Southern Living and other publications.

They planned and planted the labyrinth garden at the William Temple Episcopal Center in Galveston (Market at 4th street in the East End), both the Webster and Clear Lake Presbyterian churches and Temple Beth Tikvah in Clear Lake. They have also planted trees at a Hindu Temple in Pearland and done children’s habitat-teaching gardens at Ed White Elementary school in El Lago, Sam Rayburn High School in Pasadena, Lomax Elementary in La Porte and at Armand Bayou Nature Center.

They are generally known as a “native plant” landscape company but this is certainly not strictly the case. They use the term “environmentally sound, aesthetically pleasing” to describe their work. While they do use non-native plants, they are very careful not to use alien plants that might displace the natives and potentially destroy functioning local eco-systems.
