Historic Fun: Sign Up Now for GHF’s Discovery Day Camp

Enrollment is now open for children ages 6 to 12 for the Galveston Historical Foundation’s Discovery Day Camp.

Five days of fun, crafts and games at Galveston’s most historic sites, including ELISSA and the Texas Seaport Museum, a Harbor Tour and dolphin watch aboard Seagull II, tours and activities at the Bishop’s Palace, Ashton Villa, the Galveston County Historical Museum, the Menard House, Historic Downtown and The Strand, a viewing of “The Pirate Island of Jean Lafitte,” and much more. The camp will be from Monday through Friday, July 21 through 25, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Lunch is included in the enrollment fee of $150 per child.
