We cannot be responsible for your falling in love with Historic Downtown Galveston. The rich architecture of downtown, including the Strand National Historic Landmark District, is alive with history that speaks to your very soul.

Each building and private loft is unique in its character, design and owner’s style. We have everything from a loft dedicated to the memory of Elvis, to an elegant loft decorated with rich antiques; an efficiency loft bachelor pad, the loft home of one of Galveston’s best gumbo chefs and entrepreneur, a live/work design studio and much more.

In addition, this year the Downtown Lofts Tour will offer Featured Open Houses including The Thompson Lofts, The 2208 Postoffice Street Lofts, and The Nathan Building Lofts. Not yet owned or occupied, these properties showcase the craftsmanship of their renovation and present an opportunity to make Downtown Galveston your home!
