Tickets Still Available to Galveston Historic Homes Tour’s Traditional Mother’s Day Champagne Brunch and Fashion Show

Every year, one of Galveston Historic Homes Tour’s most popular special events is Linen and Lace: a Mother’s Day Champagne Brunch and Fashion Show. This year, the brunch is scheduled for Mother’s Day Sunday, May 10, from 10 a.m. to noon at the historic 1880 Garten Verein Pavilion, 2704 Avenue O. Tickets to the brunch are $45 each and include a Homes Tour ticket. Tickets are available online at https://tix.cnptix.com/tix/SilverStream/Pages/pgIndex.html?siteID=2040.

The brunch buffet will feature a wide assortment of breakfast meats, pasta, salads, egg dishes, fruits, pastries and breads by Carriage Caterers. Tina's on the Strand fashion boutique will unveil its new spring and summer collections during the brunch with a fashion show called “Experience the Difference.”

All guests will be automatically entered in prize drawings that include dinners, gift certificates and framed artwork. Linen or lace is the preferred attire.

The 2009 Galveston Historic Homes Tour will celebrate historic Galveston’s rebirth with nine special events, seven added attractions and tours of ten privately owned homes.
