Partners in the Field

GHF has several ongoing projects funded by a grant from the National Trust for Historic Preservation's Partners in the Field program. The funding helps us continue and expand our existing preservation services and get started on some new initiatives focused on assisting Galveston residents to increase the safety, efficiency, and affordability of their historic properties.

Partners in the Field grants are administered through the Statewide and Local Partners of the National Trust and funded by the Robert Wilson Charitable Trust. Each year, several state and local preservation organizations participate after submitting proposals outlining their strategies to expand preservation field services.
