Volunteers Needed for Galveston Race, a 10K/5K Run/Walk Through The Streets of Historic Galveston

The Galveston Revival Race, a 10K/5K Run/Walk commemorating the three-year anniversary of Hurricane Ike on September 10, 2011, will weave through Galveston’s most historic neighborhoods, and Galveston Historical Foundation needs your help. The race begins at the Mardi Gras Arch in front of the historic Tremont House Hotel. Volunteers are needed to set up the race, man the registration/check-in station, act as directional guides along the route, provide water at water stations and help with the post-race party in Saengerfest Park. Volunteers are also needed to help prepare race packets and staff the packet pick-up locations.
