Stewardship Days

Since 2002, GHF has organized several Stewardship Days each year, where volunteers help with maintenance to the properties, such as painting, gardening, and cleaning. The idea behind this event is that members gain a sense of pride in ownership of GHF's properties, while at the same time saving the Foundation money that would have been spent on contract labor. Past Stewardship Day projects have included cleaning of collection pieces and properties, painting, landscaping, and cataloging of historic photos.
