GHF is very excited to introduce the new Galveston Historic Homes Tour artist, Gay Paratore. Gay was selected in a juried art competition held earlier this year by GHF for her attention to architectural detail, original use of color and distinctive ability to capture the beauty of the Island. Gay has created the original art from which the Galveston Historic Homes Tour art posters are printed. A fifth generation BOI, “born on the island”, she currently teaches at the Art Alliance Center in Clear Lake and at several area schools, as well as giving private lessons. Her award winning works have been shown in galleries throughout Texas.
