34th Annual Galveston Historic Homes Tour
First Impression: An Evening Preview
A perfect way to kick off Homes Tour Weekend!
Friday, May 2, 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Variety certainly defines this year’s preview evening tour with homes spanning more than seven decades. Visitors will enjoy the graceful 1916 Virgil Webb house, 2523 Avenue O, with its incredible collections, the comfortable family home with simple Craftsman lines of the c. 1912 R. H. Settle house at 3202 Avenue Q, Nicholas Clayton’s 1892 masterpiece Bishop’s Palace, 1402 Broadway (where wine and light hors d’oeuvres will be served from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.), the spectacularly decorated 1859 - 1861 John M. and Catherine Allardyce high raised cottage, 1227 Ball and the professionally remodeled oldest home on tour, the 2008 ASID Spring Designer Showhouse 1838 Samuel May Williams house, 3601 Avenue P. Galveston's Pink Train will be available, at no cost, to shuttle guests between locations. Seating is limited.
Tickets are $60 and include a Homes Tour ticket.
