Join us for a film screening and song swap in the 1920 City National Bank Building this Labor Day weekend! This year’s program brings awareness to the workers who put food on our Gulf Coast tables. The event kicks off with the film FRUITS OF LABOR at 5:30 p.m. and culminates with a concert by singer/songwriters Drew Kennedy and Katie Rushing at 7 p.m. Craft beer courtesy of Saint Arnold Brewing Company will be available for donation.
Incorporated in 1954, Galveston Historical Foundation is one of the nation's largest local preservation organizations. Over the last 50 years, the foundation has expanded its mission to encompass community redevelopment, public education, historic preservation advocacy, maritime preservation and stewardship of historic properties.
