In honor of the 124th Anniversary of The Great 1900 Storm, fourth-generation Galvestonian Linda Macdonald will share the personal experiences of many who faced the Great 1900 Storm.

ABOUT LINDA MACDONALD
Named to the 1900 Storm Centennial Committee by the City of Galveston, Linda has been invited to speak to numerous groups about the storm, with many stories told to her by her grandfather. She has appeared on several PBS programs, the History Channel, Weather Channel, and Discovery Channel, as well as national network news programs. Her widest-reaching presentation was worldwide via a webcast to the International Red Cross Disaster Preparedness Directors, with numerous translators sharing her stories.
