The Sunday finale to Dickens on The Strand has a new competition to rival the beloved bed races this year! The Dickens Dash is a timed (and costumed!) footrace down Mechanic Street for individual heats as well as team relays. Costumes are required and prizes will be given for best costume, best group, as well as fastest in their category. Fortune and glory await our winner in front of our Dickens audience.

Pets and ice chests are not allowed. Scooters, skateboards, rollerblades, skates, Segways, and other recreational “wheels” are forbidden. Guests bringing in costume weapons and props must have them secured will be asked to go through additional screening.
