Wedding & Vow Renewals : Dickens on The Strand

We look forward to welcoming you on stage for your special moment, surrounded by family, friends, town criers, and even Queen Victoria. This year’s Dickens on The Strand debuts a host of wedding and vow renewal packages for consideration throughout the weekend, many of which include everything from cake to photographer. WEDDING & VOW RENEWAL APPLICATION

VOW RENEWAL PACKAGES

Renewal of Vows (group ceremony for up to 25 couples)
$200 per couple
Saturday, Dec. 7th and Sunday, Dec. 8th at 1 pm

  • Festival admission for couple only
  • Renewal ceremony by a licensed minister with Queen presiding
  • Queen’s Vow Renewal Certificate
  • Commemorative DOTS ornament
  • Complimentary 5×7 photo
  • Post-Ceremony champagne toast for couples only
  • Drink coupon (couple only) for use at one of the festival pubs
  • Inclusion in the Queen’s Parade at 2 pm
  • NOTE: Couples must bring original marriage license.

WEDDING PACKAGES

LOVE & LANTERNLIGHT PACKAGE
(Group ceremony for up to 50 couples)
$150 per couple
Saturday, December 7th at 5 pm

  • Festival admission for couple only
  • Licensed minister performing the Wedding and Vow Renewal ceremony with Queen presiding
  • Queen’s marriage certificate
  • Drink coupon (couple only) for use at one of the festival pubs
  • Inclusion in the official DOTS Lantern Parade at 7 pm\

ROSES & ROYALTY PACKAGE
(Max. 50 guests)
$650 per couple
Times available on Saturday, Dec. 7th and Sunday, Dec. 8th
Ceremony Length: 30 min. Includes ceremony, photos, toast, cake

  • Maximum of 2 attendants
  • Licensed Minister to perform Wedding and Vow Renewal ceremony with Queen presiding
  • Wedding Photographer
  • Queen’s marriage certificate
  • Festival admission for couple plus attendants
  • Red Rose Bouquet/ Boutonniere for couple (Additional $50 fee of attendants)
  • Music by a DOTS bagpipe band
  • Post- Ceremony champagne toast for couple plus attendants (Additional $50 fee for inclusion of guests)
  • Top tier only wedding cake for couple to cut. (Additional $100 Fee for guests)
  • Complimentary 5×7 wedding photo
  • Commemorative DOTS ornament and champagne flutes
  • Inclusion of couple in the Queen’s Parade

HANDBELLS & WHISTLES PACKAGE
(Max. 75 guests)
$925 per couple
Times available on Saturday, Dec. 7th and Sunday, Dec. 8th
Ceremony Length: 45 min Includes ceremony, photos, toast, cake

  • Maximum of 4 attendants
  • Licensed Minister to perform Wedding and Vow Renewal ceremony with Queen presiding
  • Wedding Photographer
  • Queen’s marriage certificate
  • Festival admission for couple plus attendants
  • Red Rose Bouquet/Boutonniere for bride/groom (Additional $50 fee for attendants)
  • Music by your choice of a bagpipe band or handbell DOTS entertainers
  • Post-Ceremony champagne toast for bride/groom plus attendants (additional $50 fee for guests)
  • Double Tier wedding cake to serve up to 75 guests
  • Complimentary 8×10 wedding photo
  • Complimentary 5×7 wedding photo
  • Commemorative DOTS ornament and champagne flutes
  • Inclusion of bride/groom plus attendants in Queen’s Parade
