Galveston Historical Foundation is currently accepting applications from food and craft vendors for the 44th Annual Dickens on The Strand, a Victorian Christmas celebration that brings over 35,000 visitors during that weekend. Galveston’s Historic Strand area with its unique Victorian architecture is the perfect setting for this Christmas festival which celebrates the London of Charles Dickens. We strive each year to maintain the authentic Victorian ambiance for which this event has become famous. We rely on our vendors to contribute to the theme of the festival through the suitability of their presentation, booth/cart display, and dress.
We have experienced staff on hand to consult with prospective vendors concerning products, booth/cart display ideas, costuming, Christmas decorations, and any other details that will help to create the proper environment and at the same time reduce vendor costs. As in previous years, licensing opportunities exist for vendors interested in selling products such as commemorative mugs, ornaments and jewelry incorporating the Dickens on The Strand trademark.
