ABOUT GALVEZTON | Multicultural poet and musician Robert Kuhn was born in Houston, Texas and moved back in 2010 after bouncing around the world for twelve years. Texas, New York, Pennsylvania, Australia, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica and Nicaragua all played home for him as different doors, jobs, occupations and art forms opened and led him on from an Academic All-American Line Backer to a vagabond fisherman farmer writing the critically acclaimed songs he has carried throughout the Americas. Broken hearts, broken backs, failed marriages, violence, riches, drugs, labor, poverty, music, poetry, dirt and salt; so it goes and continues.
ABOUT INDIA TIGERS IN TEXAS | A mixture of lysergic awareness and impending destruction flavors the music of India Tigers in Texas. The sounds of warped, fuzzed out guitar leads brings to mind cascading neon waves on a desolate shore post-apocalypse, and all that survived the torrent was a single group of psychedelic vagabonds that assembled to become the guiding beacon of a new revolution. Since the release of their debut album, India Tigers in Texas have quickly carved a seat for them selves at the Texas psychedelic table. They have shared the stage with luminaries of their genre such as The Shivas, Death Valley Girls, Frankie and the Witch Fingers, Acid Mothers Temple, Alex Maas, Christian Bland and the Revelators, and Bubble Puppy. With new material being recorded this spring, you can expect the band’s signature take on psych garage to evolve in novel directions, while they continue to bring high energy and mind bending sets to their live performances that fans love.
ABOUT KEVIN ANTHONY & G-TOWN | Kevin Anthony & G-Town mix country, Cajun, blues, Mexican and swamp pop influences to create that unique Gulf Coast Sound. It’s the kind of music you have on when you want to dance, drink and have fun with friends and family!
