Galveston Historical Foundation opens the doors to Galveston’s architectural history through public tours of privately owned homes during its annual Galveston Historic Homes Tour. Large, small, and everything in between, the 2017 tour has something for everyone!
Tiny Historic Homes TourTour 6 tiny historic homes on this new tour! Each stop will feature specially selected food and craft beer pairings. One day only on Saturday, May 13!
1979 Ortiz “Time Capsule” Penthouse ToursEnjoy cocktails, craft beer and tour in the penthouse home of Frank and Blanche Ortiz. This incredibly preserved residence was last renovated in 1979 and has been immaculately maintained with the Las Vegas style of the owners and numerous personal exhibits from their fashion history.
1860 Hendley Building Happy HourTake a rare peek into the restoration of the 1860 Hendley Building with a special tour and happy hour. Guests will be allowed access to the 2nd and 3rd floors of the building while enjoying light appetizers, wine and a special craft beer tasting with Georgia’s Sweetwater Brewing Company.
Menard Brunch & TourEnjoy a hearty brunch, door prizes, music and more in Menard Hall, then take a tour of Galveston’s oldest residence, the 1838 Menard House! Catered by Chef Mary Bass, runner-up on Food Network’s Cutthroat Kitchen, guests will also receive tickets to the Historic Homes Tour.
