Celebrate the return of the 1877 Tall Ship ELISSA as she comes home to the Galveston Historic Seaport following her history-making Galveston 250 Voyage. This special homecoming celebration and reception honors the ship, crew, and the volunteers and supporters who made this once-in-a-generation journey possible. After representing Galveston and Texas during America’s 250th anniversary commemorations and visiting historic ports along the East Coast, ELISSA returns to the harbor where her modern story continues. Join us as we welcome the ship to the island’s historic waters, share the story of her voyage, and commemorate a legendary voyage.
