    Ales and tales all weekend long! No time at Dicken Ales and tales all weekend long! No time at Dickens on The Strand is complete without a stop at one of our beloved festival pubs. Placed throughout the grounds, these red beacons of deliciousness beckon you to pour a pint of @SaintArnoldBrewing's finest. From IPAs (named after our own 1877 Tall Ship ELISSA) to other award-winning drinks and even non-alcoholic root beer, there's something for everyone.

Want to take your ale and add some history? Our Saint Arnold Strand Walking Tours are the perfect pairing for a walk through history. You'll also receive three tokens good for a drink at any festival pub all weekend long. The first tour is tonight, with more options on Saturday and Sunday. Finally, we'll kick things off tonight at 5 p.m. at Fezziwig's Beer Hall with a keg tapping and entertainment. Check out the last image for a sneak peek of our new limited-edition commemorative mug and join us in raising a toast to 52 years of Dickens on The Strand!

    In preparation (and anticipation) for this year's In preparation (and anticipation) for this year's Dickens on The Strand. The 1892 Bishop's Palace is closed this weekend. We will resume normal operating hours on Tuesday.

    Incorporated in 1954, Galveston Historical Foundation is one of the nation's largest local preservation organizations.
